We’re travelling together

What now?
Stillness, emptiness,
New chapters
Old sadness

You’re not here
I’m far away
What now
What remains?

A company, a gift
A smile in the dark
A laughter, a hug
Inextinguishable spark

Beyond skin and language
Beyond each one’s path
The essential remains
This is our aftermath

A warmth, a presence
A God who always smiles
Eternal bond of friendship
A hope that never dies

I’m not scared today
Although I am in pain
Nothing will be lost
Don’t listen to the rain

We’ll meet again soon
In a day full of joy
To sing, to dance
To play with a new toy

Emotion, commotion
Surprising gratitude
We’re travelling together
’cause we’ve vanquished

Our solitude
